| Love that is not bigoted but expressive of the God who made us; family that is supported and encouraged when so much today attacks those unique relationships; lives that are guided by God's word contrary to the lifestyle of self- ambition. These are a few aspects that challenge the idea that Church is irrelevant. Here at CAEC we certainly believe church is important. We aim to serve one another because Jesus came to this world as a servant not a king. There is irony in the gospel records as we do believe Jesus is King of Kings and rules the whole universe. At CAEC we believe that knowing Jesus is knowing God and leads to transformations in all areas of our lives. We are ordinary folk, from different walks of life. Some have come to the area to retire, some have lived and worked here for many years. All of us have a desire to live as God intended for our very best. We do this by looking regularly at God's message to us in the bible. God's word is a bedrock foundation as it touches every area of our lives. We are also a musically gifted church and as such our times of worship in song are enriched. Our meetings are less formal than some churches yet all we do is guided by Word and Spirit. |
| We have families in the church and there are various activities for all ages. We are an independent church that gives us the freedom to focus on the key burdens that challenge us from God's word. |
